I had a tidying aberration a while ago. I cant find my nail scissors anywhere. I'm going to have to buy another pair. They will definitely turn up when I'm looking for something else.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

The most annoying is buying a pair of scissors, because you don't have any, and a pair being delivered in packaging that needs a pair of scissors to open it.

Pens migrate like that in our house.  Almost every week I havel to go searching for the pen which I last saw on the pad on my computer desk.  I generally find it beside the chair of my good lady along with many others.

My wife just had a phone call, supposedly from our bank, and with the correct std code.  Apparently somebody was trying to make a foreign transaction of around £600 and they needed my help to stop it.  Just needed to press 1.....  My wife hung up and I called the bank who confirmed it is an attempted scam - just be aware as the bank has been receiving a lot of calls about this.

The "aitch" is silent, like the "P" in "bath".

I’ll have a P in the corner, please, Bob.

Anyone remember that? And the Baker Street saxophone solo is an urban myth.

...luckily our bungalow has been converted, and the last owners (considerately) installed a dungeon under the stairs...
Semi-worked, they now drop 'aitches' from everything...can't win 'em all I suppose. Maybe I should just have used the hood and sound of dripping water...but hey, no one taught me to be a parent, so I tended to make stuff up as I went.
