Random seedling id please!

    I have some interloper seedlings growing in a pot with a dahlia. Trailing, round leaves.I think they could be melon seedlings. 4 decent sized plants now. I am hoping at least one of them might set a fruit. No flowers yet and they did not like the storms we have just had.

    Terri, I wondered if your seedling could possibly be a verbascum, although I think the leaves are not flat enough to the ground.

    A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    Doesn't look like my verbascum seedlings  :(

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
