TBird I am a hoarder I keep things( just in case ) like my grandma did . Her drawers were stuffed with (just in case ) bits and bats . When she went for a walk she would collect kindling and if there was a nail or a screw that looked usable she would pic those up too . It was common practice in the village she lived in . Why do I feel I have said this on here before ? Hello Biglad .
Lily  I hope that you are more rested .

Yes thank you Ruby, feel a bit more like me now.   🤞 I sleep well tonight too. Hope you have had better sleep patterns too.
    That's a shame LB.
Hazel, you sleep well after such a busy....but lovely day.
Do hope everyone in the quiet corner are well and hopefully see you all again soon.

Hi everyone,  Had a good day today looking after Jonah and Gabriel.  Gabriel especially is at a lovely age.  He spent the day having long conversations with me (total goboldygook) complete with wonderful facial expressions that had me in stitches.

Thanks for all your kind comments re mum.  She is now back at the nursing home but I don't really know anything.  They have said she is fine but I just wish I could see her and give her a cuddle.  I worry she thinks we have forgotten her.

Glad the roof is fixed Chey.
That certainly was a marathon Debs
SGL it's good that you had a better  night.
    Hope everyone else is OK.

I hadn't realised that it was my first post on this thread. Thanks for all the welcomes - it feels like the evening I inadvertently went in to the wrong wedding when two were holding the 'night do' at the same venue and had a better night than I would've had at the correct one.  ;):D:o

    Biglad, that is hilarious!
I'm signing out for tonight people. Quiz answers will be posted sometime tomorrow. I've got to take my car to have two new rear tyres put on at 09:00. I'm going to take my e-reader with me to pass the time. Shouldn't be too long I hope.

Following on from my comment yesterday, it feels very cool in the house this morning. I hope Hazel and Yvie have recovered from Grandma duties. I bet it was still nice to have the small people around.
