Mine have fluorescent pink handles, but attaching or painting on anything that's a non-natural colour will help them be more visible. My problem is remembering where I left them. I can spot them easily when I look in the right area.

Thanks. That's about a quarter of it; I work full-time and do 95% of the gardening, so it sometimes feels like a battle. But this year of course it has been a tremendous blessing. (I have continued working full-time throughout, but everything else in my life has stopped.)
Age doesn't make you forgetful. Having way too many stupid things to remember makes you forgetful.
I'm a bit wary of putting tools in pockets in case I slipped and did myself a mischief. I dropped a pair of secateurs on my foot once. The blood was spurting a good few inches into the air. It was terrifying. I always jump back if something is falling now.

Yes this applies to me too. I'm not very well coordinated at the best of times.
