Morning all, I have noted all the comments and many thanks for that, now Pete what is that netting you use and if poss was it on the net ( no pun ) for delivery, wish I had thought of netting before, I also am using Miracle grow because of the NPK advice, also I got some 50%/60% green mesh of the net for sunscreen as the tops of the tommies were wilting and the cues leaves looked very sad but the mesh works, especially in the last hot days, Net curtains cut into strips are now adorning the open greenhouse door as blackbirds around here seem to like going inside, the movement seems to keep them away, Many thanks everybody for your help,

Hi Alan - sounds like you're making good progress.
This is the netting I bought-
    https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00T4PQGX2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Not available atm, but the same sort is widely available - on the net of course :)
It's quite stiff and holds the weight of the fruits well, but I do make sure to tie the plant to the netting too as before I've had all the tendrils snap under the weight of the fruits and the whole plant on the floor
    Good luck!
    Pete
