    Thanks piano player, I think it may be pot bound so will buy a bigger pot. Would a 100 litre pot be ok? If so when should I transplant it?

    If you're going for a much larger pot , replant anytime in ericaceous compost ; keep wet and semi-shaded .
    If you're in a hard water region , try to use only rainwater !
    I'm sure it will be fine .

    Well guys I just had to send a photo of my pieris that I replanted into a bigger container last year based in your advice. Omg the photo doesn't do it justice. In reality it is magnificent. Thanks again for the advice.
