HELP!!! SQUIRRELS!!

  • The traps are indeed sold as rat / squirrel traps by a firm called Fenn - they are available on eBay. They require a very careful pair or two of hands to set them because they are VERY strong, although there is a safety piece that you only remove when they are in position. I made my own boxes, but as BtG pointed out, you can buy them too. Squirrels LOVE fresh peanut butter, and will follow a trail of it right into the trap. I know it seems cruel, but as Hostafan says, they can cause life threatening damage, and if they are making free with your garden, there is every incentive for them to move into your nice warm des res roof space. Here is a video from December 2018 of one of my invaders.

@Johnny Crosby that is unbelievable it climbed up your house like it was going for a stroll!! There so braisen its unreal! I'm looking on ebay now as when I woke this morning my garden plants had been pulled out again 😤 but while I'm waiting for the traps to turn up I'm thinking about strategically placing some plastic lids with pins/thumbtacks in, around my plants to make as uncomfortable as possible! I had some of the spiky plastic grid stuff last time and that worked for a bit but I think it just needs to be a bit more uncomfortable for them until I get rid of for good 🤞!!
