  • Happy Sunday...  Deep silence here,  and a dappled sky, with a half moon veiled then revealed.

Good morning Island and all to follow.

LB, your nephew has done proper and nice work.

Hazel, I'm much better, thanks for asking. It's hot again, but not like last week.

SGL, I hope so that you are much better and that headache is gone.

I was at cottage yesterday. Harvest was enormous so today I must deliver all fresh produce. Photos later, tea first.
I forgot to mention that watering my garden is again every day job.

A very good morning Island, Ante and all to come. Thanks for your kind words Hazel and Ante. Gosh Ante, you are going to have a busy day delivering the harvest so take care in the heat. Your friend will be very pleased with all the fresh vegetables. Those 3 water butts will come in very handy - once the rains have filled them up first

I am not going to visit rellies today as some are away visiting our cousin and, as I mentioned before, I am going with my handy brother for an  'Eat out to help out' meal tomorrow. Could be a good gardening day.

  • All sounds very good.

Same routine here as yesterday; chased inside by the hordes of Midian, slightly bitten. Close door firmly until a breeze comes; knitting the while to youtube. All OK!

When the knitting reaches 1 kg, parcel it up; it goes  Packet Rate then.

Then" haymaking". Turning what I cut yesterday and cutting more. If the shears finish recharging. Oh I must rescue the three poorly sited lupins too.

Temps over here due to reach  26. "coolest on the coast...

Have a lovely Sunday whatever you do. Stay safe; stay well.

Good morning all. Hot day at work yesterday and a bit of an upsetting incident with one of our methadone patients but the wind got up overnight and big son home for weekend so slept better. I seem to relax more when I am not alone in the house. He is off to Liverpool Monday to work his weeks notice then it’s job hunting for him not the best in the present economic climate. At least he has no children or mortgage to worry about. My heart aches for the young people affected by the handling of this virus.
New gate looks very smart LB love the colour.
Off to lunch later at oldest daughters house. Youngest daughter will be there, she is starting to feel less poorly as she goes into the 14th week. Also my youngest son who was so very ill in January so should be a lovely day.
    Happy Sunday everyone.

Good morning Debs. You are at the front edge with your work so incidents as you speak about must be upsetting indeed. Will your son look for jobs nearer to you or still up in Liverpool. It will be a very difficult task at the moment so I wish him luck. Enjoy your lunch and the catch up with your children. Good news that the morning sickness of your youngest daughter is easing off now.

Hi LB. Son will stay local for now as he can live with us and he gave up his Liverpool home during lockdown. I like having him here especially with fiancé working away I do struggle at night when the house is empty imagining each sound is an intruder. Over active imagination has always been a problem of mine.
