Lily I got so fed up with my hair that I have cut it myself using a razor comb . Rebecca and a close friend said it was good. I am quite pleased.

Night night Chive. I know that tired leg feeling all too well! Snap SGL, I  can get my hair into a ponytail as well. Not for long though! Roll on Wednesday. That razor comb sounds a great idea Ruby. I seem to remember - an age ago now - that you could get razor cuts at the hairdressers. Can anyone help me out there? I'm going to sign out for now as I have cloth things to attend to in the garden. Aren't the nights drawing in - I think SGL said that the other day.

Been awake for ages, just can't get back to sleep. It's so very hot tonight too. May go out in the garden  with a cup of tea. See you later everyone

Good morning SGL and all to follow. I, too, was awake at 04:00 SGL, I should have joined you for a cup of tea. I watched one of my recorded TV programmes hoping it would send me to sleep - it didn't.

Good morning all! Sunny here so no walk as sisters dog doesn’t cope well with heat she is popping in for a cuppa instead.
You are all obviously getting your hair sorted out, my hairdresser is now out of hospital, she had a blood clot so bit of a worry but all is good, she is away in Torquay for a week but I am hoping for an appointment soon.
I have a little announcement to make, my youngest daughter and her lovely husband are expecting their first baby! They have been hoping for this for some time so very pleased for them and little one is due on my birthday February 7th.
In other good news fiancé is liking the job and so happy to be back in the kitchen.
Hope you all have a wonderful day planned stay cool and hydrated!

I bet you are going to walk round all day with a big smile on your face and why not. It is nice to hear of good things when the general TV stuff is full of horrid things.
