I understand Rozanne is a creeping, non layering geranium which is sterile so long flowering. Prefers full sunshine to shade so that might be why yours are not performing @Jason-3 (and one of mine!). I will move my original one into a sunnier position next spring.

Rozanne is not the choicest but very useful, flowers constantly and bounces back from a shearing. Only negative is it goes slightly limp in the sun in hot weather. The sprawling rangy habit is a positive if you plant it with that in mind. I think I slightly prefer Anne Thompson which has similar traits (apart from the limpness) but you don't always want that hot purple colour.

My mum has Geranium Brookside which is giving a superior display of flowers than Rozanne right now, but they won't last as long. Rozanne is a dependable supporting actor, more than the star of the show.

@BenCotto is the flower in the picture below a poppy?

Does Rozanne need a rich soil?  I have some planted in a poor sandy soil (that will not be amended) and wonder how it will do there...

This is my Rozanne which this year is somehow growing as a vertical tower

@Fire ... hope you don’t mind me popping in here ... the blue flowers in your pic are a geranium. Not sure which one.

@Wilderbeast ... the blue geranium at the back of your bed doesn’t look like a Rozanne to me ...

@Dovefromabove possibly not as it was grown as a division then gifted from a customer of mine, no guarantee he had the right name. Still I do love it and have divided my self and have lots of plants around the garden.

Good morning @Wilderbeast  ☕️ It is very pretty ... I wonder what it’s real name is ... I might do some googling ...

Morning @Dovefromabove it has grown very different this year for some reason, normally a sprawling plant that clambered over everything it has grown vertically making a 4ft high tower (looks like the "Gerkin" building).

My Rozanne starts off going upwards (but with almost acid-yellow foliage early on, turning green) and then widens out into a wide clump .., it starts sprawling later in the summer ... that’s when I cut it hard back and feed and water well and it starts off again in a clump ... but the flowers are quite different to yours, larger and on longer more individual stalks.
Wonder what’s going on with yours ? 😊

@Fire, not poppies but mahogany red and purple/black pansies. That’s an old photo - I had completely forgotten I ever had such planting. I also was surprised by the vigour of the tomatoes top right, behind the feeder. As you might infer, my soil is a rich loam so I cannot answer how Rozanne might fare in sandy soil.
