I have also been impressed with the fact that nearly everything they sell is always recommended by the phrase "grows well in Ballyrobert" so they know the plants they sell.

I too am a very happy customer of this nursery, plants were healthy and well packed. Would definitely recommend.

Yes, I always enjoy their commentary!

I have just ordered from them a couple of days ago and order already on it's way. Fantastic customer service, great low postage charge and also still have a good selection of plants which other nurseries have sold out of. Their prices are great but they have sold out of their 2 litre pots (fair enough at this time of year and lock down) but still have most in 9cm ones.

They are also a RHS Partner Garden.

  • I rather like 9cm pots for growing on plants...the plant hoarder in me is satisfied by getting more varieties per order 😂

Are they the nursery that include a mint with their plants,  or am l getting confused with somewhere else?

On reading this thread, after the letdown of Hayloft, I ordered 15 x half litre plants. Aas someone has already commented, the 2 litre pots don't seem available right now, at least not for the ones I wanted.I ordered Monday and they arrived today, Friday. They were very well packed, the compost still moist and all looking healthy. And, AnniD, they included a toffee which I've just finished! Obviously the proof is in the pudding and I won't probably know that until some time next year, but looking good :) Oh, and post and packaging was free for the amount I ordered. Thanks for the recommendation @amancalledgeorge !
