Ballyrobert Gardens online plant sales

Hi all,

Just received my first order from Ballyrobert Gardens and had to share how impressive their packaging was. Everything was neatly put in thick cardboard boxes that fitted perfectly in one another so there was no movement in transit and the only non recyclable part is the small bags around each pot made of bio ethylene, which are biodegradable and compostable. Incredibly well done for only a £3.99 P&P charge. The plants are looking great and will enjoy growing them on from their 9cm pots. I ordered on Monday...so not too shabby dispatch time either.

We are quick to admonish bad sellers but thought some positivity and praise is due too 😉

I have used them many times - both on eBay where they have a shop and directly through their website. I cannot recommend them highly enough as they have always been great and they guarantee their plants for a year.

Just spent a very pleasant 45 minutes going through their plant list. Oh for some money!

@amancalledgeorge Good to hear as I ordered stuff yesterday afternoon having never heard of them before. 8am this morning I hear it's on its way. Excellent if the plants are good too.
  • Fingers crossed @Tack wish I'd ordered earlier in the season when they had many more plants in stock...something for early next year 😉

Yes I've used them and found them great. They initially sent the wrong Sedum ("Karl Funkelstein" rather than "Jose Aubergine") and replaced it immediately at no cost. Which was very good of them considering they are virtually identical

  • Their dispatch email about not worrying was fun too @WillDB nice to have plants people caring about the mail order side of the business and to do it so well.
