Where I live is difficult as,my allotment is underneath a plastic corregated roof. It's elevated and I try to give it as much ventilation as possible. It's an extremely hot part of Spain at this time of year. Crops even suffer in the fields. I found that spraying the floor just creates humidity which leads to fungal white powder growing on my courgettes and cucumbers.... constant battle :|to

Is there any way you can put some "shade paint" on at least 1/2 of the roof panels ? This will help moderate the heat, while allowing enough light for growth. Shade pant is a chalky formula that can easily be brushed off at the end of the season.
