    If it doesn’t work we’ll all have to keep our eyes open for ‘the real thing’ and snaffle some seeds 😉

    Every year I harvest more seeds than I know what to do with from my single marigolds.  Send me your address and they're yours.  The colours do vary, and some have darker centres; you can hoik out any you don't like.  You only need to sow them once; they will self-seed ever after.

    I have some of these (see photo), @B3 and you’re more than welcome to some seeds. I also have some yellow ones which might cross pollinate them, so they probably won’t be guaranteed to be orange.

    Thank you very much @pitter-patter but josusa has offered me some😊. Those are exactly what I want .It's really galling. I noticed some in next door's garden today.
