Messing about in the lake.

6inch diameter overflow pipes, showing how low the level is. ggrrr








We took advantage of the low level to clear out some bullrush. 
Sorry the photos have loaded in a rather random manner. 
Fingers crossed for rain.

    It’s beautiful, a lovely walk all around the edge, ducks swimming. Frog and fish plopping on the surface. Lovely water lilies,   He should charge for a day out there 🙂

    The Canada geese have 6 very big babies, Mrs Mallard has 6 pretty decent sized babies,and the Coots have some too, but they're too skittish to count

    I have lake envy, but not lake maintenance envy.  The grass is always greener, eh?

    I didn't do it last year, but it's quite therapeutic getting in there and hauling them out.
    I pretty much leave it to its own devices.

    it's 6m deep , but I've never braved the duck and goose pooh to swim in it
