Good morning all. Trip to Ikea today I have a list and am determined to get the last few little bits to finish off the hall and the bathroom. I expect to have to queue and have allowed the whole day if necessary.
Yvie I know that GC ,I might go there next week, as you say the lack of a cafe won’t be an issue at the moment.
Lovely lilies Ante just waiting for mine to flower lots of beetles I check every day and squish them, poor plants were ruined last year.
LB well done with the washing it rained on and off all day here and there is more forecast. Just hope it will make for a shorter queue at Ikea!

Good Morning LB, Ante, Rubee & Debs and all to follow,
A thoughtful D-Day memorial photo LB. It is sounding very wild weather where you are an indoor play day,
Ante I can imagine there is a lot of demand for your produce completely organic, it always looks so good 😊 lovely Lilies,
Rubee It sounds like you have wild weather too, hope you have a good day,
Debs good luck at I**a I hope you’re not queuing for too long and get everything you need 🤞
    Enjoy your day everyone.

Morning Ruby, Debs and Chive. Our weather sounds similar Ruby. Good luck at the DIY store Debs. I hope that you get everything you need. Definitely an indoor play day Chive.
Ante, maybe this will help you. Debs can advise when her jobs are all finished:

    Morning everyone
Sunny, but very windy and chilly this morning.
    Gorgeous lillies Ante.
Hope you get everything on your list Debs. Hopefully Ikea won't be as manic as it was during the week, queues looked horrendous.
More cloth things to go outside soon, the wind will get them dry in no time at all.
Have cleaned the bird bath this morning and put fresh water in. It was bone dry.
Have a zoom chat with the poppets this morning 😍😍
    Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care  TTFN

LB, thanks for the link. Now I must find my turtoise somewhere in the garden and make physical exam. 😁

SGL, it must be such a pleasure to talk with little puppets.

Hazel, properly name, I think that I'll make some poll here when I determine the sex. Have a restful day, you and OH.

I just came in from the walk with dog. It's hot on the sun.

LB thank you for showing us the picture from the National Arboretum and remembering D day and the history.  It is a time for reflection.  Ante your lilies are lovely and it must be satisfying growing your own produce.  Lily it’s good you are enjoying your walks and it will become more satisfying over time to these beautiful places just a walk away.  Chive I hope you enjoyed gardeners world last night.  LB I also watched spring watch.  I found the info about wasps very interesting.  Debs enjoy your trip to ikea.  I hope you get what you need.  Pauline I hope you have a good weekend.  Hello Hazel it’s quite autumnal here too.

Hi folks, The sun has just shown it's face, although the clouds still look full of rain.  We have had lots over the last 3 days so the water butt should be full.  I like the occasional trip to Ikea too, not keen on the flatpack stuff, but like the market place.  Ante, nice to grow your own veg etc.  Did look at sharing an allotment with my Bestie but decided that it would be too much work.  Might look at growing some veg in containers next year.  Hope everyone enjoys their weekend and that you all manage to get some gardening done.

    Afternoon!

I love Ikea's cinnamon rolls. Apparently they also sell furniture?  :D
