When I used to bite my wife's bum, she used to rush out to the doc's straight away and have tetanus and rabies jabs...ended up like a pin cushion.

But for all gardening you want to ensure tetanus is up to date anyway - for those scratches and scrapes...

I have been relatively lucky so far with tic bites, never had any sign of Lymes despite having suffered many dozens of bites over the years. It is a constant worry though as it is a problem round here.
  • I don't think silverfish bite people do they?!? I hate them enough as it is already - eeks!

Rarely according to the net. I wouldn't worry about it😊

    Thrips can bite sometimes, apparently!

I will google thrips just in case. Ladybirds can give you a painful nip too.
Nope. Nothing like that but exactly like a silverfish.😊

I wouldn't have thought silverfish would bite/sting, they are just 'powder' when stepped on......

And when squashed against your skin, they leave a greeny brown streak but they're not oozy like slugs😊

My GP says the NHS don't do tetanus top up jabs any more, they believe once you've had a course, you shouldn't need top-ups. Not sure I 100% believe her.
