It looks fantastic! Seems ages since I went out for a cream tea. Post us a virtual one!

Ha ha @JennyJ - National Cream Tea Day is 26th June, maybe you will all be allowed out by then. :)

Anyway, little update. Lots of concrete hole filling going on but sadly today my wishing well (actually I think it was an upcycled sewage pipe) had to go to make way for the access to the new terrace. As a single woman too busy to find a boyfriend I spent many an evening after a hard days work with a glass of wine sat next to that well enjoying the view and the calm after a hectic day. I am sure I will enjoy such evenings again but it was sad to see the poor thing smashed to bits. I am possibly going to save the metal top and find a use for it, perhaps grow sweet peas up or something, but maybe not this year.  :o

Latest update: coming along nicely, lot of wood all over the place though and the carpenter made me move my favourite rose, just as it was coming into bloom....all good, honest.

It will be fine ... it’s a New Dawn ... for you and for all of us 😉 🍷

and why can’t you have another Wishing Well somewhere else in the garden? It’ll be lovely 😍

I have kept the metal work cover, I will try and invent something for it a later date @Dovefromabove:)

wow, that's going to be impressive
    Devon.

  • My OH has been busy building me this lovely Lockdown Deck! He's had to add a step in case I topple off after too many tipples! I planted up the bed behind it to find the next morning my spaniel Hootie had chased Buster the labrador through it and squased my beautiful Apple Blossom Penstemon 🤣🤯

Looks fabulous, I love the cushions too. ( I used to own a cushion shop in a past life) . I find Penstemens very resilient, just take it as a Chelsea chop.
