I am on a slippery slope down the road to an expensive Gardena one now. My current set up involves a splitter so that I can have a hose for the top half of my garden, a short hose for filling watering cans, and a hose for going up onto the balcony, as well as the long hose. Will this set up work with the Gardena hoses? Do they have the same connectors as Hozelock?
@REMF33, in the past few weeks how much have you saved by not going to the hairdressers, the dentist, the pub, meals out ... tell your husband that’s your Gardena dividend and if he doesn’t like it find an alternative use for the spray nozzle!
Well I go to the hairdresser's once a year, and don't drink alcohol, but I am saving on transport. Problem is, I have had a lot of things delivered, mainly for the garden, and husband sits in the front room, so sees it all coming, and judges! Normally such things go to work, or I go to the garden centre... I will bear in mind your advice re the nozzle I am going to get one. I think not your super one, as we don't have a convenient place to put a wall mounted one. I am going to go for the 'comfort flex' hosepipe with an Aquaroll trolley M. Will just check reviews on the supplier I am considering, maybe ee if I can find out how long the garden is (I think I could do with a 35 m but they only do 30 or 50 for loose hoses) then will press 'buy'. If it has a 25 year guarantee, it will probably last 25 years, and hopefully I will no longer be shouting (swearing) at the hosepipe.
