Ok no need to get shirty 😢
We’re trying to help but getting information is like getting blood out of a stone  ...

so now we know you had the plant last year
... tell us more about it ... what time of year did if flower? What were the flowers like? Do you have any photos of it in bloom?

If the expensive camera won’t work do you have a camera phone you can use ... they often do the trick for this sort of task.

As there’s a lot of greenery around it could you put a sheet of light paper or cardboard or something behind the plant so we can see the shape of the leaves and what looks like last year’s seedheads.

What’s all the stuff on the ground around it?

What was the feeding and watering regime last summer?

this was only planted two weeks ago ... what sort of preparation of the planting site did you do?

It looks as if some general garden hygiene ... clearing of dead material, weeds etc is needed ... along with feeding and mulching, maintain the condition of the soil and it’s ecosystem.

Theres little use in neglecting the condition of the soil and then expecting it up produce strong healthy plants.

Some of the twiggy detritus on the ground appears to be several seasons old.

We are only just getting into the dry season. I would hardly expect to water from September to March!
Where are you ?  It might be a plant or conditions that we don’t see here in the U.K.

Without adequate info and proper, clear photos, useful advice can't be given.  :/
For some reason those aren't forthcoming, but if that was only planted 2 weeks ago, prep and follow up care hasn't been addressed, regardless of the plant, or where it is.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Have you ever enriched your soil?  Could be lack of nutrients if it is not responding well to new planting.  Lots of plants do not like moving about so maybe enrich the soil and put a new plant in and see how it responds.
