Why is my plant dying
Hello,
I have a spot in my garden which should be one of the best. It is open to the sun from early morning to late afternoon. I have improved the soil with plenty of compost. Last year I planted a ceanothus and rather than grew it slowly shrunk. A few weeks ago I gave up and dug it out and replaced it with a white flowered plant (forgotten name) that was thriving in a
pot on my terrace. Now two weeks later it looks awful. Also seems to be dying back. What is wrong and what can I do? I thought it might be a fungus. There are quite a few plants nearby and all are fine. There is one which doesn't look brilliant and has brown ends but it isn't dying back in the same way.0

It also seems to be in among bamboo which won't help, and there's a load of stuff all round it. That isn't going to help it thrive either.
