    Your latest pics confirm it's not a cherry tree sucker.  It reminds me of a shrub coming back from being cut to the ground but can't quite put my finger on which one.  The leaves seem distorted (aphids?) which isn't helping much.  Outside guess is now something like a hydrangea.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I does look a bit like a tobacco plant, but not yet convinced. I would have to leave it to see it flower!

    I'd leave it until someone can identify it, for which it may need it to put on more growth.

    Not a teasel. Maybe when the flowers come a better chance of ID
