Could it be a sucker from a fruit tree root?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Thank you Lyn and Liriodendron! There is no tree within 3m radius. Shall I get rid off it?

Looks like a teasel. Can get very tall.
  • Thanks Tim! I googled a teasel and looked at the photos but don’t think thats the one. However, it grows 7cm a day!!!
  • Could it be a tobacco plant, the leaves look similar? I'm not sure they grow that fast/tall though!
  • I compered the leaves and my „mystery” one’s are more rough.

My money is on a cherry tree sucker.  Any cherry trees within 20m?
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Here you go! Hope this helps!
