@bullfinch definitely. I'm not massively keen on the bigger varieties but the OH has planted up a pot with a dinky type, a bronze grass of some sort and a little Appalachian Trail tiarella . The yellows greens and bronze-y colours, and the white "foam" from the tiarella make quite a striking shade pot. And as a fan of container planting I really like Euphorbia hypericifolia for its clouds of white flowers
Yes @bullfinch The great thing about those acid green ones is that they work very well with dark colours. Purples, that black lily turf, dark, rich reds etc. That sounds a good combo @mikeymustard. I have a reddish/bronze grass in front of mine, in a bed with oranges, purples and other hot colours.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I love them. I bought 6 or so Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae two years ago ... this year I harvested some of the spreading growth to plant 10 or so small plants in another area where I want to let it run rampant. Great looking flowers in a woodland setting - and evergreen ground cover as well.
