Hi everyone.  Any ideas on what this maybe? Cheap not so permanent marker used so now have no idea!! Thanks in advance.

    Hi @shanelee66 ..... we've all used markers like that  

    Did you plant any begonias .... looks a bit like a new shoot and leaf.

    Thanks for replies and will look at what im growing in my "new" greenhouse! So excited after spending a year building it ive gone mad and planted everything from Marigolds to Cactus!! 🤣🤣 Problem is i labelled my shiny new plastic labels with a cheap permanent marker hence confusion!! Really appreciate your help as im keen just not "green " yet!!

    I've never used plastic labels because I can never find any writing implement that doesn't rub off.  All my plant labels are wooden lolly sticks, chip forks and coffee stirrers which my OH collects for me on his morning walks.  And I write on them with a Sharpie permanent marker.

    Wooden lolly sticks here (Hobbycraft or Am**on if you don’t have as many ice lollies as @josusa47 wink). I use a B4 pencil ... or a chinagraph (if OH hasn’t borrowed it). 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Pencil stays on better than 'permanent'  marker  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I find the writing on the lollypop sticks runs......I use pencil on white plastic labels, much better

    Really? Pencil on plastic? Wouldn't have thought that but grateful for helpful suggestions. Thank you all.

    If you can’t get pencil to work on plastic rub the plastic a bit with some fine sandpaper or an emery board first.
