Afternoon all - Phew! Wot a Scorcher - again. Have been planting some drought tolerant plants out front and shovelling a huge pile of wood chip which I'm using as mulch. Need to go back out and finish off. Right now, in a minute.

Glad to hear poor old Chey is back home - hope he gets well soon.

LB - Your children's answers were really funny - especially the one about the troublesome genitals 🤭 and the one about Christian marriage. I could not possibly comment on whether that one is true or not....

SGL - how lovely to see the little one crawling around. Will you be able to have a few of the family around to sit in the garden or will you and OH have to continue with isolation? It would be such a tonic for you both to see the family but OH's health must come first.

Not much else to report except that it was confirmed on the local news last night that I'm not imagining this drought (3rd year in a row...). Apparently this part of the world has just endured the driest May for more than 100 years.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Afties all. Hi T'Bird. Love your 'Right now, in a minute'! My 'sco delivery was very prompt in the hour slot and I got everything on my list including (YAY!) Marigolds! When you only have little hands it is very difficult sometimes to find the Small size. I'm just imagining the lovely smell of the wood chip mulch. I did actually chortle at that answer too. Speaking of answers, I'm about to post Saturday's quiz.
