     It puts me in mind of  Philadephus aurea ... except that has a more upright habit   :/

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I tend to avoid philadelphus because it's a blackfly magnet so that one is unlikely, but not impossible! I suspect,I was in buy anything that will tolerate partial shade mode if that's any help

    I've just noticed the young stems are pink so changing my mind to hydrangea!
    Here's a photo of my weigela which has green stems:

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Yes the stems are definitely pink.

    Hydrangea Paniculata, same as my Vanilla. fraise.
