pink bluberry

I have a pink blueberry and  a blue one, Blue is doing well but pink looks like its dying, both treated the same, mulch after fruiting last year ( both are in 4th year, 1st fruiting last year) Watered regularly, fed  with ericaceous feed. The leaves of pink bb are turning orange /red and falling off. Both plants are in pots The pink one appears to be more lower growing plant than the upright blue one. It may have dried a little in recent weeks.I hadn't watered it over winter time, assuming it would have enough.small amount of fruit last year compared with blue fruited one.  any advice please

Ok thank you. I have given it a feed and watered it today. I will keep an eye on it. Is yours in a pot or in the ground? enjoy. My blueberries were delicious last year. Took 3 years to fruit though Good luck with yours

We have 'Pink Lemonade' in a pot, and it is not doing as well as the regular blue blueberries. Same conditions, sun, feed, water etc. I guess it's just a slightly weaker variety.

Mine’s in a pot as well. I haven't fed mine yet, will have to get some feed. The leaves on mine are green. Maybe upload a photo of the leaves. Thanks, I’ll look forward to eating them.

@Dorcascents and @seacrows, what varieties of the blue do you have and how do they taste? If things go well, I’m hoping to get another this year.

Thank you all for comments, @Seacrows the labels on the plants state,  Blue blueberries variety is 'Pink Sapphfire' and the pink variety is  'Sunshine Blue'.  Something doesn't sound quite right there, so have been out to recheck and its correct. I will have to check it out now as I am confused, and wonder if the labels were on wrong plants when I ordered them. How have I not noticed this earlier, as I have had them 3 years.

Hi  Skylarks, I will upload a photo tomorrow so you can see the sad state of my bush and after checking the labels for the name of the 'Blue  blueberry to find labels red a bit odd. I have checked them out on website and  @Seacrows will also be pleased to hear the blue blueberry is called 'Sunshine Blue' and tasted delicious and were a good size too, and the pink one is Pink sapphire. The pink variety is the problem one. Wow this lockdown has really affected my mind.  I will be swapping those labels tomorrow  you can count on that. Sorry for the confusion.  Ha! Ha! Ha!

Hopefully once the is uploaded someone might be able to tell you why the leaves are orange/red 🙂

Thanks, I’ll have a look at Sunshine Blue and Pink Sapphire. Like Seacrows, I have Pink Lemonade.

Hi Skylarks and Seacrows, I have uploaded 4 photos, hope they are not too large to view. The first 3 are of the  sad Pink Sapphire. I think there is evidence of some very small fruit, but not sure. The final photo is the Sunshine Blue, Looking totally different. Both have  been treated the same. Any suggestions with the pink sapphire problems please
