@wild edges that is truly amazing! Lucky boy you have.
I am still sowing seeds despite having no room anywhere to put them. An advantage of self isolation - there is no-one to complain they can't move for seed trays
"The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it." Sir Terry Pratchett
Self isolating/self sowing?? Yes, my Hubby usually complains about how much money I have spent on plants, not this year. Mind you, I havent ordered any by post. We go to a place in Eastbourne, its like a kind of warehouse, not glamorous, sells just about everything, was going to be sold this year, I gather the owner is retiring, there is another "branch" in Hastings, and it aparently has PP for blocks of flats. It re-opened Monday, got some lovelly scented roses £4.99, heucheras X 3, some varieties I dont know, an Astilbe, and a white carnation, they used to have their own nursery, which closed last year. The plants are very well grown and looked after, and the gardeners very knowledgable. There is a garden club, used to be an hour, on a Saturday and Sunday moring and Thursday evening 10% off everthing, not running at the moment, we will all be heartbroken when it is closed and sold.
I know I must be weird but I enjoy assembling flatpacks.
😱 Flat packs are Gods punishment for industrialising society!
Id rather bodge something together myself with timber and a saw, but its more
I'd rather go to a second-hand shop and buy a piece of solidly-made wooden furniture. It would probably be cheaper than the flat-pack. And last longer.
I cut my own hair today and you can tell 🙈 Silver lining is it will make it easier to dye my hair tomorrow and it feels much better. Feels like a weight has been lifted.
