I've been cracking on with a project for my son's bedroom. I've made a big tree out of MDF with shelves for toys hidden behind the leaves. Still a bit to do but it's getting there.

Yesterday we sorted the leak in the pond. Today I decided to de silt it. Four hours later, lots of buckets of silt, we put 100 frogs back in, not counting the escapees, six smooth newts (2 male and 4 female), and the goldcrest came down and had a look at the mud in the bottom. We have seen a goldcrest 3 times in 30 years , although we often hear it. Good day.
