Lots of woodchip coming up then @Hostafan1 and maybe some logs for a bit of "habitat" or the fire?

yeah, there are dozens/ hundreds of ash down there in various states. I guess those which aren't showing signs yet, will do at some point?

Eventually.  We had 2 taken down nearly 2 years ago but the surgeon thought the two by the pond were OK and just needed tidying up a bit.  We have much younger ones that have self seeded elsewhere and are looking very healthy.

No doubt they'll cop it too one day but we're planting loads of other trees to make up for it when they do.

There are all the muppets driving to where they shouldn't be, but just wait until Saturday when the pubs open, in England at least.  I won't be going near them, but one local pub has said everybody has to prebook, and only stay a maximum of 2 hours and can't meet in groups of more than 4 people.  Good luck with policing that when people have been trying to catch up on lost boozing time for 2 hours.

We can go to the pub this weekend , and eat and drink, ( and presumably sing ) but you can't do any of these things at a wedding??

What a total farce this is.

I've been looking for a decent book on UK hoverflies and tried Ebay to see if they had anything going cheap. I clicked the link for one field guide and it under the listing it came up with a big list of 'other books that might be of interest'. They were all X-rated sexy books including 'Lesbian sex 101: A how to guide'. Either entomologists are having a lot more fun than I previously thought or Ebay is telling me that I need to get out more :#  I wonder what part of my Ebay history makes them think I'm an inexperienced lesbian though? :/
