We wouldn’t dream of doing that in our docs, we are much more refined in West Devon😇

I always ask the checkout person to wait until I get my trolley down the end.  If it's one who flings stuff about, I stick a few things with security jobs on them in the middle to slow them down.
I find that the older assistants understand the system and we whiz through the process. It's got to be easier for them if you have all the similar items together.

What really annoys me about Sainsbury's is you don't get a running total on the screen thing. It doesn't matter much  to me but it could save a lot of embarrassment for some people. I know why they do it, ( to rack up the money from impulse buys) but I wish they wouldn't

I was wondering why Waitrose (don't know about any others so can't comment) are now doing their doorstep deliveries in plastic bags?  I would have been very happy to have had my groceries in the recycled boxes the goods come in originally.

Is it elf&safety? Too complicated to organise and so not time or cost effective? Can't be asked or nobody thought of it? I would love to know, also do all doorstep deliveries come in plastic carriers now?

They've probably got a load to use up. Also, I suppose they'd be easier to spray tif you wanted to

I think they have already used them up B3 as the last delivery was in the sturdy bags that are supposed to last.  No note about returning them but maybe I will put them out next time and see what happens.

I suspect they aren't allowed to take bags back.  Not much point in keeping people 2 metres apart if the bags go from person to person.

I'm loving the fact that the food deliveries are now being made in plastic bags. I'm hoarding mine in the cupboard for future re-use. Always thought that was a bit of con, banning them, just made people have to buy the white bin bags instead.

Why?  I don’t buy bin bags.

This morning I watched a young squirrel deliberately knock over a small flower pot and continue on its way. Just like a hooligan tipping over a dustbin😡
