They do deliveries here @Liriodendron so maybe they do in Ireland too.  Our new bed and mattress came by truck but they sent a light fitting by mail.  It broke.  That meant a day trip to Nantes to swap it but meant I also goot to raid the Asian supermarket for spices and such.

The queue probably stretches as far as Mullingar. You could join it there.

What a lovely thought, @B3... Not.

I'll have a look and see if they are still available, @Obelixx.  We did investigate having an IKEA bookcase delivered, but delivery was going to cost more than the bookcase...

Could you put a notice in the post office or somewhere asking for empties?

I wasn't sure if you would have one @Liriodendron.
They were talking about the humongous queues on the radio this morning. How could anyone be bothered with that! To buy a candle and some meatballs.... :D

I heard they’re not doing meatballs at the moment  ... so just candles 🙄

What - not even in the shop @Dovefromabove:o
You can get them in our local supermarket, and once you've learnt how to make the sauce, you don't need to go near the place ever again ....

Just what I heard someone on the radio say @Fairygirl
... I’ve never been to Ikea or eaten their meatballs. 😇

@Liriodendron try https://www.world-of-bottles.co.uk/ - despite the web address they are a German company with every conceivable size and shape of bottle. They deliver to Ireland too.
