Buy a couple of cases of wine. It shouldn't take more than a fortnight to empty them. Problem solved.

When does a heatwave/ drought stop being referred to as "good weather" ?

I think it's lovely, but I'd not call it a "heatwave", not down here anyway.

Today's gripe is that although there's a bumper crop of elder flowers this year, I have no bottles so can't make any cordial...
You can buy empty wine bottles online ... but .., why would you when you can buy full ones?🤪

Put a request on Freecycle or Nextdoor.com

Thanks for the tips... unfortunately we don't drink... except elderflower cordial.  But empty bottles on line are possible.   :)

A fortnight to empty a couple of dozen bottles!?  You really aren't trying hard enough. :D

I've got a load of swing top 'wine' bottles I need to get rid of as well :|  Maybe you just need to get creative and use old milk bottle or jam jars instead?
