Not sure that I’ve ever noticed you being curmudgeonly @Hostafan1 <tongue-in-cheek smiley>

@punkdoc - I know what you mean about the A82 compared to the coastal route, but for accessing the local hills etc , it's necessary. Missing it, especially with the recent weather, but that's how it is.  :)
I actually like driving the Loch Lomond road, but too many people have no idea how to drive it, and have no manners, or patience. It's really just that secondary section [Tarbert to Crianlarich]  that's the tricky bit.

Did you watch the forerunner - Chewin' the Fat?

    Don't know that one @Fairygirl.

The Loch Lomond Stretch is a pain, I hate meeting coaches coming the other way on some of the tighter sections.
On our last few visits, we have broken the journey up to the North West and stayed at the Inn on Loch Lomond, brilliant fish and chips and good live music.
How can you lie there and think of England

I know where you mean @punkdoc - at Inverbeg.
It's just at the junction with Glen Douglas. I've had some really nice walks on those hills, but it's a right little b*gger of a road at the beginning  :)

You might get it on the catch up doofer. They still show it on the Scotland channel now and again.

    @Fairygirl 😊
I remember driving up that road when we went from Glasgow to Skye ... we had fish n chips at Tyndrum.

Is anyone else beginning to lose faith in BBC news?
I just get the impression that they no longer delve deeply enough.
I had a look at channel 4 news. John Snow seems to be a trustworthy  cove.

Did you stop at the 'nice place' in Tyndrum  @Dovefromabove? The Real Food Cafe.
It seems like a lifetime ago since I was going through there....
You'll need to re visit some time  :)

I feel I'm having news overload nowadays @B3. My brain hurts  :s

@Fairygirl. It's as if nothing in the world is happening apart from the virus. Has everything else stopped?
