Rose stems going yellow and dying back. Why is this happening ?

  You’ll need to cut off the diseased canes back to healthy growth. Looks like there are old trimmings in the pot, those need to be cleared out and thrown away. The pots look quite dry, not sure how often you’re watering but in this weather they dry out quickly.

  2 gallons of water per pot today. The same on Wednesday, whether it’s rained or not. Then one gallon per pot twice a week until the autumn, more often (maybe every day)  in hot dry spells.
