@debs64 it looks a little like my campion plants. I have both the rose and the white varieties in my garden and they look very similar - though not quite as large as yours yet.

Thanks for all the ideas as soon as it flowers I will post a photo. I bought a few plants in a “lost the label”sale last year it must be one of those I think. It seems too big so be a self sown seedling.
What popped into my head when I saw it is yellow Alyssum. There are several varieties, but on checking, some of them look very similar to your pic. Worth a look !
Hi all moved plant into pot and it’s doing well, white flowers with a dianthus scent, could it be a perennial stock? I seem to remember buying seeds for that last year but not doing well?
Hi, this has been flowering it’s socks off and smelling wonderful all month but is starting to go over now. Any tips on sowing the seeds as it’s such a beautiful plant I definitely want more next year?
Debs, Matthiola can be sown in either Spring or late Summer/Autumn. Whilst it can be classed as a perennial it doesn't really last very long. It is best grown like a biennial, similar to foxgloves. Sowing some every year will give you continuity of flowers.
