Hi all this plant is growing in my garden I cannot remember what it is, I feel I recognise it but can’t put my finger on it. Please help. Thanks

Does it have white flowers? Could it be Snow in Summer - Cerastium tormentosum?

I did think stocks looking at the flower heads it just appeared in the flower bed I grew lots of annual stocks last year but I too thought too early.

I thought a bit early as well, wait until the flower comes out, that will clinch it

Thanks everyone it’s my own fault I never keep labels I am moving all the plants in that bed just hope it survives, flowers and solves the mystery!

The young foliage is slightly velvety?
