  Have you any smaller pet supply shops that also do garden supplies? We have a few dotted about locally in rural villages.
  
  That was my last hope and I managed to get 3 bags of multi-purpose compost I needed.

  Our local garden centre is offering free delivery and they have compost so placing an order today. Check out Facebook for independent nurseries and garden centres nearby

  Thanks for the tips everyone. I just googled to see which local nurseries are there around my area and found one that’s still open (albeit for Farmshop, food products etc). Though he was ok to sell some top soil on the side, so its always worth trying.
  
  Now need to find somewhere to get Sharp sand and some seeds etc
