  Good solution for now and they'll need feeding and nurturing once flowering finishes and they're busy building up their bulbs for next year's show.

  Thank you @jamesholt that first picture looks reassuringly like my herb patch at the moment 
  
  Whilst I can fully appreciate the amazing efforts of others neither interior nor exterior design are in any way part of my skill set.  I am focused on acquiring more flowers to extend my horizons (and hoping to be able to give them names) fretting about colour would just make my head spin.
