Cuttings ID please

The variety is something to do with a desert. middle plant in pic I remember taking cuttings from a red variegated berberis, but this can't be it Might it be a salvia? I've learnt my lesson. I even label stuff in the freezer now!

Strange about the colour difference. I definitely didn't buy too kinds. Must be something to do with soil or conditions. They've all been outside , but not in the same place.
