A lot of strength to everyone who's battling covid or its consequences.
I spent a day in the mountains (these home to home walks can be tiring because it is some distance to get somewhere but so soul-saving). I pruned all roses in my front garden yesterday, we are having a cold weekend but it should be warm again next week. Roses are showing a lot of new growth.
Trying not to succumb but I quite like these from Style Roses - 'A Million Dreams' and 'Amazing Day'. I have to wait for the new DAs.

Thanks to @Marlorena and @Mr. Vine Eye  for the info on Malvern Hills. Repeat ramblers are new to me. I only recently learnt they were a thing from this forum. I might have to go for Malvern Hills, though now I notice I am starting to take out meh plants and put in new ones just to see what happens. Oh dear.

Does everyone now buying plants in 9cm pots, have large greenhouses? This is the point when I start to order too much and the pots are too small (no greenhouse, small garden) and then I get overwhelmed. I try to reign in each year and fail miserably.

@Fire - no I’ve got a small blow away greenhouse. I’ve got a lot of plants that will need potting on but I’ve not got enough pots - I could take some to the allotment to go in my polytunnel when I can leave the house!

I potted on my first order, but I’ve now got a second lot and all of my cuttings from last year that will need repotting at some point. No rush with the weather as cold as it is now though.

I found the same with Golden Celebration @Perki, over-long, weak canes that couldn’t support the weight of the blooms, not a great bloomer and they also turned an unpleasant shade in heat. I have persevered with it too long so it’s being replaced by a yellow Delbard rose, when I can get my hands on it - Souvenir de Marcel Proust.

Fabulous photos @Tack. Instantly transports me back to Belize or Costa Rica - when we could afford exotic holidays.

My thoughts with @tack and @Marlorena 💐 Fabulous exotic photos @tack, thank you for sharing.

Can’t buy plants yet, too cold and nowhere to put them. I have a mountain of chores to do when the weather warms up though as it is so probably a good thing.
