I am so sorry you lost your brother @LG_ .......these are such difficult times. He knew how much he was loved, which is no help to you now, but I hope will be a source of comfort in the future.
and thinking of your son @floralies, and hoping for a recovery very soon.
I'm so sorry to hear of the sad news from @LG_ and I hope that @floralies son makes a good recovery. Such a worrying time. My son thinks he had it but wasn't tested, fever, cough, but he recovered at home. May have been something else as the rest of his family are OK, isolating.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
So sorry to hear your sad news@LG_. Thank you all for your kind wishes. My son is stable at the moment, we just wait and see. Thank goodness for our gardens at times like these and of course it goes without saying all you lovely peeps on the forum!
Good to see you @Fishy65 ... hope you both remain well 🤞 😊
Thank you Dove, and here's hoping you too remain well. Also everyone on the forum, I wish you health and to keep safe. Gardening really comes into it's own at times like this doesn't it. Seeing plants thrusting through the soil, new life. We have robins and blue tits nesting, frogs in the pond. It gives me hope.
@floralies - my thoughts are with you. The only comfort I can give is that us healthcare professionals are very aware of how precious people’s loved ones are and we strive to give them 5 star care and compassion every day.
Thank you @AuntyRach We are so greatful for everything you are all doing. As a retired nurse I am trying to tell the family in a way that they understand what is going on. The team are under great pressure - I know. We have set up a WhatsApp family group so that everyone knows what is going on without pestering the hospital all the time! Its a great way of all keeping in touch when you can't visit.
That’s a good idea doing a WhatsApp group. I suggested to my relatives that one person calls and relays to the others. We aim for the Consultant to call once a day too. We are just settling up some iPads/phones so we can make a face contact too - it is strange not to see relatives, or comfort them with a tea and hug. Keep strong @floralies.
I know that as well as risking their own lives coping with Covid 19, our wonderful hospital staff are caring for and saving the lives of children like Henry every day ...

Thanks for your thoughts, everyone. Total sense of unreality here.
