Would offering 500.00 to people who refuse the vaccine be more of an incentive?

Not really as lots would refuse just to get their hands on £500!

    I don't want the vaccine.

Here's £500 if you take it

Ok then, I'll have it ( say 40 odd million people )

I think refusers should be forced to pay for insurance to cover the cost of treatment when they get Covid

Nobody would insure them and any insurance company would be bound to deduct payments for people who failed to follow Covid rules and then got infected.  They always find a way out.

I suspect that come summer, they won't let you fly  on holiday unless you can prove you have had the vaccine.  Saga have already stated that for their cruise ships after May, you have to have had both jabs at least two weeks previous , and a negative covid test in previous three days.  My mum got a card with the date and batch number on, and the date of the second appointment. I told her to keep it with her passport after she has had the second jab.
