But looking at the Elexir on Amazon it's a plug-in thermostat and will only sense the temperature at the location where it is plugged in, so it's a room thermostat, much the same as the one you use for your central heating. If it's to keep a greenhouse at the right temp, it should work and could be used with a heater of up to 3Kw. It won't work to keep a propagator at the right temperature as the temperature sensor cannot be inside the propagator, but you don't say how you're using it. I'm happy to help but need a bit more info. What heater are you using it with and what's the purpose?
