You'd think that they would drown, or at least fizzle out. I've noticed quite a few on the gravel. Not sure how they are getting their nutrients from there.

Tried everything on patio, even oven cleaner and neat bleach wouldn't kill them.
They disappear as it gets light, go outside and look at lawn etc at night when wet and you'll see loads
Please tell me that was last year? Ours isn't that bad... And hope it doesn't get to that stage. They seem to be crawling up our little step. Complete nightmare 😱
We saw some lurkers during the day, but they have definitely multipled when it gets darker. Strange as it's so much colder. Hoping the dogs don't bring any into the house 🤞

I done it in April, like you say it's too cold now, I just put up with them until then.
Horrible things and impossible to kill, they came out between the slabs when it rained but not if temperature was really low

You may of seen a lot of daddy long legs on your lawn, laying the eggs around August/September
