On BBC Breakfast this morning they were interviewing somebody from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue about a couple of guys who got themselves stranded after deciding to camp on a small island in the middle of a river - in this weather.  When the interview ended Naga said something to the effect of what a nice person the interviewee had been.  Dan Walker then added that it was nice to talk to somebody who actually answered the questions they were asked.  This followed closely on the heels of the interview with the Education Secretary.  I'm not sure if there is a connection between the comment and that interview.  It made me laugh anyway. :D

Absolutely a connection!  He was not shy in telling the Education Secretary he was waffling and politicking and running down interview time and not answering questions.

As for people who need rescuing because they've gone out unprepared and uninformed and without basic research like checking the forecast, it's time to start fining them and/or making them do community service clearing up crap and helping people or the rescue services in some way.

I hope it doesn't cause an accident though. Maybe he just wants to slow down traffic....

Nice one @BenCotto - although I have a hideous feeling that he'll get back in. Don't ask me why, but Americans seem to have a habit of doing that with clowns  :s

That’s marvellously bonkers. I love it. I don’t get why the report says he “appears to be wearing” ... why the doubt? And I like Amanda saying she wasn’t expecting to see that - no sh1t, Sherlock.

My border Collie is also Luna.  Now, promise not to laugh, we couldnt agree on a name, (its always a nightmare concerning our animals!)  my youngest daughter got onto her fancy phone, and there is actually a border collie name thing, like you get for babies.

Our first little frog of the year! Admittedly, we only found it because we wondered what the cat found so fascinating about a patch of grass. About two inches long, and a very grey-green colour.
