You are all looking very festive with lots of difefrent colour schemes and styles. Our tree has been in place in its festive pot for 2 days now but I haven't started decorating it.
I love the non tree stuff too - outside lights, branches and mantle garlands and, like @chicky some of our tree decs hold special memories of Xmas markets in Bonn, Cologne, Brussels and so on. I used to buy something new each year but now the new stuff is home made felt decs and Xmas cloths too but no paper chains. Don't like them.

Well I made a start with a simple wreath today. Leylandi prunings for the base, Cotoneaster for the berries, a few sprigs of Pittosporum and a few teasel heads:
