Hi all volunteer day at Capel Manor so a bit cream crackered now but it's all good. At the risk of upsetting anyone I agree with the design flaw comments I often think that myself. I think I have said before that despite being the shape of a bean pole and the weight of a fly, I too have raised Cholesterol & can be tending towards borderline pre-diabeties. It irritates the heck out of me when the nurse at my GP trots out the standard script about not eating high fat processed food, which a) I don't, b) never/ very rarely have, not out of any health concern I have never liked them. Even when our poor ma (who was working full time ) tried us on various convenience foods we always moaned like mad as they were nowhere near as good as her homemade. When I lived on my own I cooked from scratch. My GP has finally accepted that it's nothing to do with my diet or activity levels. Lots of us do not fit the so called standard pattern if it was that simple it would have been solved years ago. Sorry rant over.
Yesterday’s gardening was good - lots of leaf clearing from paths and borders .....but you could certainly see where we’d been, so very satisfying. Today is more painting (hopefully the final coat), a trip to the gym, and some computer bits and pieces.
Morning all/afties Pat. That's pretty miserable for you. It's going to be along time before the ground, and the rest of the country, recovers from that Glad you had a good time @chicky. Do they have giant leaf bins for leaf mould? Another light frost here, but it's cloudy now. The gritters haven't had much respite in the last ten days. Think we have some rain coming later so I'll get a walk before that happens, I hope.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
