You don't want to come hillwalking with me @Lyn. I can't regulate my temperature at all any more, so it's fleece on, jacket on, then sun comes out[low level] so jacket off, then fleece off, then rain/snow coming in so fleece and jacket back on, then down to lower level, jacket off, then lower again fleece off, then more rain coming so jacket on....

Only if you take yer wallies oot @Lyn That's 'a' as in walloper @Hostafan1   @philippa smith2- someone once asked on the walking site, what forecast do people use. There were the usual suitable answers, plus a few funny ones, and mine was no need, just take all your clothes and waterproofs anyway, and take a view on it when you get there. We seem to have strayed from the mushrooms a bit....oopsÂ

Great thread for this time of year when the shrooms are popping up all over. Thank you for starting it Ante.
I only get those tiny little brown ones in the lawn so it's been lovely to see the fantastic variety of shapes and colours others have in their gardens. Thanks to all who have shared their fab photos. My favourites have to be those tall ones next to the basket, they're magnificent đ.
Went past my favourite spot for giant puffballs today ... the best crop Iâve ever seen ... at least 50 in the one meadow ... a marvellous sight  ... sadly I was going to be out all day and half the evening so no point in stopping and clambering over the fence ... they donât keep well.Â
